This is the beginning of an inside look at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, where experience matters, quality counts, and anyone can share their opinions and thoughts. I will provide you with not only valuable information but help you in your search for cultural experiences as well as discovering concerts that are not too far from home. Lehman Center brings a variety of affordable performances to the Lehman College Campus, and a lot of us students don’t take advantage of this great opportunity. My name is Ashley Merentis and I am a student at Lehman College and also work in Marketing for Lehman Center. Before working here, I had no idea what was happening on campus nor did I realize I was missing out on all the wonderful concerts and international events presented at the Concert Hall. From oldies and classics to ballets and orchestras, my eyes were opened to a plethora of opportunities. I wish to share that here.

Just when you thought you missed out on a concert you wanted to see for years, a concert that was never made possible in the Bronx at such ease, you turn on your car’s radio and you hear the concert live in the comfort of your vehicle.
