Just when you thought you missed out on a concert you wanted to see for years, a concert that was never made possible in the Bronx at such ease, you turn on your car’s radio and you hear the concert live in the comfort of your vehicle. I didn’t buy tickets, and yet here it was in my car. For some of my friends and family, that was just the case. This Valentine’s Day weekend, Lehman Center held a special Valentine’s Day “Salsa Con Amor” concert featuring Ismael Miranda, José Alberto “El Canario,” and Domingo Quiñones. The concert had an excellent turn out and everyone had fun while they danced their way out the theater at the end of the night. However, for those that missed out on the opportunity to attend the concert, they also had the chance to experience it via SiriusXM Radio. SiriusXM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) aired “Salsa Con Amor” live from Lehman Center for the Performing Arts Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at 8:00 pm ET on SiriusXM Caliente station, channel 150. “Salsa Con Amor” is part of a series of SiriusXM live broadcasts from the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts’ 2011-12 season. SiriusXM will broadcast interviews with the artists and concerts including upcoming concerts by Gilberto Santa Rosa and Grupo Niche.
So next time you miss out on the chance to see your favorite artists live at Lehman Center, turn on your radio and you just might hear it.
