I've been teaching @ Lehman since 1997, when I started as an adjunct in the English Department. I became a full-time professor in 2003, was assistant chair, then chair, and now I'm Acting Associate Dean in the School of Arts and Humanities. The 15 years that have transpired since coming to Lehman have not felt long, and that's a good thing.
I know a thing or two about Lehman: its students, faculty, culture, and general goings-on. When I post something it will be about Lehman, or about writing, or about education, something our students, and potential new students, might care about. I may go off on a rant every now and then, but I'll try to keep it in perspective.
I hope people like what we're doing with these blogs from around campus. They will give readers new insight and perspective into our college.
