The Big Picture: NYC's Cultural Parade

The Bronx Journal got a makeover in June, just in time to feature enhanced multimedia coverage of New York City's summertime parade of cultures. Lehman student reportage of these colorful events -- from the Puerto Rican parade in June to Brazil Day in September -- are vividly showcased in the new big picture format on the site.

The Bronx Journal - A Lehman Showcase

I am a lecturer in the Journalism, Communications and Theatre department where I teach interactive media and digital news design. I am also a faculty adviser for The Bronx Journal (TBJ), an award-winning multimedia publication produced by Lehman students.

TBJ covers the Bronx for borough residents. Our students report, write, shoot and produce the site's content, which includes text, photography, audio, video, and slideshows.
